HALO 3 theme Re-Remixed

"AAAHH SO CLOSE..SO...MUCH..POTENTIAL..."

date: June 5, 2009

ZOMGAWOOMAFOMBLIG (figure it out) THIS SONG HAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL I JUST WANT 2 SCREAM AND BURST OUT LIKE I CAN'T HOLD IT IN aaahh! I don't know what to say. This thing can be me #1 fav of all time out there if it had a bit more up beat parts rather than that constant building, and a better drum part. Also the ending with all the little twinkley doos and didly das...no. please. it needs an epic ending. I think overall a better drumline and more base to pump it up. I think it just needs that proffesional touch to it. Listen to some ParagonX9 or Dimrain47 you'll know the touch I'm talking about. Ask them to do this song it wud be amazing i garauntee it.

Niner99 i don't think his percussion wuz 2 off at the beggining. I think its just the song style u know? pretty good, but the drums didnt do it for me either. Sounds just...weird. like an odd tone. too sinthy i guess haha

Halo 3 Title - 4 piano mix.

"Less Octaves"

date: June 5, 2009

Hey I'm probably gna be more picky than most on this because I play piano quite intensively. I highly recomend a remake because this has SO MUCH potential. The base line on the piano of those same 3 notes needs to be smoother and more connected, but otherwise that was could. The thing that bothered me most was the octaves in the melody. I understand octaves can add a whole new level of epicness >.< to the song, but this isn't that song. Make the melody come out MUCH smoother without the octaves and maybe add some more of the middle parts in. The actualy halo 3 menu has a chorus that I didn't hear here. My biggest pet peive tho was the octaves. PPLLEEAASSEE no octaves in the melody unless ur adding more parts and making it more fast paced. Overall it could be smoother. Nice work tho

"FINALLY PIANO TECHNO INTERTWINED"

date: June 5, 2009

I don't understand why people don't use piano more in techno. It just sounds awesome. Piano, violin, heavy techno beat, some nice synthisized sounds, PABLAM awesome techno. Take my advice and listen to some of my favorite artists, Milkman Dan, Dimrain47, and ParagonX9. Almost all of the best techno artists on Newgrounds have at least one techno/piano song. Milkman Dan especially. I HIGHLY recomend you use piano in some of your upcoming works I'll be listening that's for sure!

"Familiarity Clarification"

submission: Soar Away
date: June 5, 2009

Very good song! I think these guys think it sounds familiar because it has such a wide range range of chords in each chord progression that a few common ones pop up. I think the most 2 common chords in this song appear often in other songs of this genre and a few other genres. Nice job I can't wait to hear your next songs!

Gerudo Valley Death Song

"Eh. Pretty Good"

date: June 5, 2009

Pretty good mixing, but its not up-beat enough for me. Don't get me wrong, you did a pretty good job of mixing this, but it could use a little more percussion or drum and base. I like the fast paced Gerudo Valley songs a bit more. I think you did a pretty good job on this one, so I urge you to remake this with a bit mor rock/ hip hop feel so it's a little bit more hardcore. Keep up the good work!
